Description

At NFI North, we design diverse and innovative programs that provide a high level of structure within communities of care for adults living with mental illness. The Transitional Housing Service program is a 16‑bed adult day program at the Philbrook Adult Transitional Housing (PATH) site. The role involves supporting participants in achieving independent living through comprehensive clinical, vocational, and life‑skills services.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily activities of participants, providing ongoing support, guidance, and role modeling.
  • Facilitate participant improvement in personal responsibility, social skills, medication monitoring and administration, community living skills, and behavior management.
  • Assist in facilitating group sessions and provide transportation to medical appointments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or two years of related experience and/or training with adult mental health populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Enthusiastic, eager enjoyment and interest in community mental health work.
  • Team player who works well as a member of a group.
  • Motivated to grow professionally and take on additional responsibility.
  • Flexible to set own schedule and goals within program parameters.
