Job summary

Lifesteps in Worthington, PA is hiring Direct Care Companions to support adults with disabilities in a residential home. You will assist with daily living activities such as dressing, meals, bathing, grooming and transport to appointments, plus community outings.

We offer steady full-time hours and flexible part-time shifts, including daytime options. Paid training provided for those new to home health care, with welcoming experienced aides as well.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs. or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required

Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities
