Job summary

Lifesteps, Inc. is seeking compassionate Direct Care Aides to support adults with disabilities in a group home near Ellwood City, PA. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, grooming, and transportation to appointments, working in a stable, team-oriented environment.

Available full-time hours with overnights and flexible part-time options provide steady income; paid training is offered and experience is not required. Clearances (ACT 33/34 and FBI) are required to start.

Job description

Lifesteps, a local, human service agency that has been in business for over 100 years, is hiring compassionate and caring staff to work with adults who have disabilities in The group home location is near Ellwood City, in North Sewickley Township. This is also close to New Brighton and the rural area of Beaver Falls.

Direct Care Aides

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist special needs individuals with their activities of daily living and home care. The direct care aide provides assistance to adults with disabilities helping them with daily activities like dressing, meal preparation, bathing, and transport to doctor appointments.

Duties

• Cooking and serving meals
• Cleaning the house
• Shopping for groceries and supplies
• Personal care assistance like grooming or bathing
• Medication administration
• Community Outings and fun activities

Lifesteps offers steady, full-time hours! Available Shifts are: Overnights 3 pm to 7 am OR Overnights 11 pm to 7 am

Part-time hours are also available with flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Great for additional income or a second job.

No experience necessary! Paid training provided!

Experienced home health aides, nurse’s aides, support assistants, and direct support professionals welcome!
