The Space, Intelligence, & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) organization is seeking a Direct Attack Chief Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager (Level M) for the Precision Engagement Systems/Weapons Engineering Team based in Saint Charles, MO. This position manages the Weapons Direct Attack (DA) Engineering Team supporting DA programs like JDAM, PJDAM, SDB, MOP, HAAWC, and B-61.

The role requires a leader who takes responsibility, solves problems, sets high standards, and can build consensus across stakeholders. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of program engineering, ensuring safety and quality, managing technical approaches, and leading technical development and talent growth.

This position is onsite in Saint Charles, MO, and requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific field, with at least 5 years leading engineering teams and 10 years of technical program experience, including weapon system development.

Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, experience with process improvement initiatives like MBE/MBSE, prior role as a chief engineer, and strong communication skills. The role offers relocation assistance, is a 1st shift position, and offers a total pay range of $178,500 to $241,500. Applications are accepted until June 2, 2025.
