Job summary

Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Manager of Biomedical Services II in Beaumont, TX. You will supervise biomedical technicians and manage asset software, work orders, and on-call schedules to ensure high uptime and regulatory compliance.

You will review budgets with senior management and perform related duties to support patient care. Requires 5+ years in biomed, 3+ years supervisory, and relevant certification or degree.

Qualifications

• Certification and/or Associate Degree in Electronics/Biomedical Technology required.
• Prior military training and experience preferred.
• A minimum of five years of experience in the biomedical field required.
• A minimum of three years of supervisory experience required.
• Must have knowledge, ability, and willingness to perform duties of biomedical technician.
• Strong time management and organizational skills and ability to work independently a must.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, and directs biomedical technicians and other support staff.
• Administers and ensures the validity of the asset management software program.
• Ensures timely work order administration.
• Administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
• Reviews and approves purchase orders.
• Reviews financial statements and budgets preparation with senior management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This individual is responsible for ensuring repairs and calibration services are performed on patient care and support equipment within the facility.
