Job summary

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a full-time Dinka Linguist to support language and linguistic services. Responsibilities include interpretation, translation of various materials, and providing language instruction. Qualifications

• Eligible as locally hired, from outside the Area of Operations, or a U.S. Citizen.
• No security clearance required for Category I but security vetted by Government personnel.
• Category II linguists must be U.S. citizens and may receive interim access to SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation services in-person and virtually.
• Translate written, electronic, audio, and video materials.
• Review and edit documents as needed.

Skills

Working proficiency in English (ILR level 2+)

Experience providing foreign language instruction

Ability to conduct consecutive translation and interpretation

Fluency in the foreign language
