Job summary

American Dining Creations in Mount Holly, NC, is hiring a Dining Worker/Server to deliver great service and assist with food preparation and service at a station or serving line.

You will greet guests, assist with cashier duties, maintain cleanliness, follow safety guidelines, and support take-out packaging and labeling as needed. Some shifts may include flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer service, food service, or retail preferred.
• Able to work well with others and independently.
• Strong time management and task focus in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and clear communication.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, climb stairs, and stand throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare and serve items at a food station.
• Greet guests and provide fast, friendly service.
• Maintain health and safety guidelines and temperature logs.
• Inform guests about ingredients, availability, and pricing.
• Operate a POS and assist with take-out orders and packaging.

Location: Mount Holly, North Carolina

Summary:

A Dining Worker/Server with American Dining Creations will focus on delivering exceptional customer service and completing food preparation duties. The Dining Worker/Server will efficiently greet and serve menu items to guests from a station or serving line. Additional tasks may also include assisting the cashier, cleaning the kitchen, and serving areas, stocking, equipment upkeep and other related work as required.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established recipes to prepare and serve menu items for a food station.
• Greet and serve guests in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure correct serving temperatures and adequate portion control, temperature logs, and dates.
• Provide guests with information regarding food ingredients, availability, and pricing.
• Cashier duties may include operating a POS, accept payment for food and beverage purchases.
• Assist with labels and packaging food for take-out menus and mobile ordering.
• Escalate customer concerns and complaints to management.
• Clean, organize, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and general areas.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years prior experience in a Customer Service, Food Service, or Retail position preferred.
• Able to work well with others as well as excel independently.
• Time management skills and task focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift.
