Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join a 16‑week Dining Services Manager in Training program to learn how to manage and oversee dining in a healthcare setting. You will gain hands-on and computer-based training while preparing to lead your own account.

Eligible applicants will develop skills in operations, health and safety, staff development, inventory control, and resident relations in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous dining services or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Must obtain various health/safety certifications during development (FPM, FSM, LTC-FSM, CDM, CFPP where required).
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Strong organization and communication skills are essential.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
• Learn to ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate

USD $20.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.


• Strong organizational and communication skills.


• Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP ( where required by state regulations ) certifications during the development program.


• Valid driver's license.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.


• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.


• Residency within the service area required.

Additional Pay Information

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
