Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to ensure a quality dining experience for residents. You will oversee dining room staff, supervise room service and the on-site store, and help maintain high standards of hospitality and service.

Candidates should have prior food service experience, strong leadership, and the ability to train staff, manage schedules, and handle resident billing with professionalism and care. A Serv Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of previous Food Service experience.
• Management experience is not required but a plus.
• Serv Safe and/or other required local, county or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• Positive and professional attitude with clear direction in a respectful demeanor.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of food and cleanliness of dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operation of dining room(s), room service and convenience store.
• Ensure room service orders are delivered timely and properly.
• Ensure smooth and timely opening of the dining room.
• Assist in producing weekly schedules with budgetary guidelines for service staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing per shift and coverage for absences.
• Lead the training of all new dining room employees.
• Assist service staff during mealtime as needed.
• Oversee resident billing of food service charges.
