Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Dining Services District Manager to oversee dining operations across multiple locations in the Norfolk area. You will ensure compliance, supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with administrators to deliver quality resident experiences.

The role requires a Bachelor's in management or related field (or equivalent), 2+ years in quantity food production/service with supervision, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years' experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.
• Specialized training in dining services management and nutrition desirable.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Ability to complete regulatory compliance courses and implement necessary changes.
• Capable of leading a diverse team with interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and residency within service area.

Pay Rate

• Must be able to complete regulatory compliance courses and identify issues and implement necessary changes.
• Capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Valid driver's license.
• Residency within the service area required.

Offered hourly rates for this position are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs, aspects, operational considerations, and requirements of the facility serviced.
