Erwin Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and caring Dining Services Aide to join our team! Our Dining Services team plays an important role in creating a positive experience for our residents by providing quality meals and friendly, attentive service.

Set up dining areas before meals and assist with cleanup afterward
Serve meals to residents in a friendly and timely manner
Assist with plating, portioning, and preparing meal trays according to dietary guidelines
Deliver and collect resident meal trays as needed
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout dining and kitchen areas
Assist the Dining Services team with supplies and other daily tasks
Follow food safety, infection control, and facility procedures
Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, and other facility staff
Help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
Friendly, patient, and respectful when working with residents
Willingness to learn dietary procedures, food safety standards, and facility guidelines
Ability to work scheduled days, evenings, and weekends as needed
