Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Prospect Heights, Illinois, is seeking a Dining Server to provide timely, professional meal service and a warm, welcoming dining experience for residents and guests.

You will take and deliver orders, assist with menu selections, bus and reset tables, maintain a clean dining room, participate in pre-meal meetings, and follow Sunrise safety standards while using Sunrise systems for accurate order entry.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining service or restaurant settings preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide menu descriptions.
• Bus and reset tables per community standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro.
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings.
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
