Job summary

Fairmont of Westlake is seeking a part-time Server to provide dining and table services to residents and guests in our community’s dining rooms. The role requires at least 16 years old and prior dining hospitality experience is preferred.

You will set up dining areas, serve meals, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are followed, while demonstrating care and respect consistent with Montessori-Inspired Living®.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous dining hospitality or full-service senior living experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in organizational, time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas.
• Set up dining areas, provide meals and dining services, and clean dining spaces.
• Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and comply with regulatory procedures regarding food service.
• Follow Montessori-Inspired Living® principles daily and treat all with dignity, equality, and respect.
