Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is hiring a Dining Server to provide timely, professional meal service in a warm, welcoming dining room for residents and guests. You will take orders, assist with menu choices, bus and reset tables, and keep the dining area clean while adhering to safety standards.

You will participate in pre-meal meetings, use Sunrise systems for order entry, and contribute to a hospitable environment that supports great service each shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining service or related food service role preferred.
• Ability to assist residents with menu choices and service details.
• Strong communication and friendly, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Assist residents with menu selections and describe items clearly.
• Bus and reset tables per standards and keep the dining area clean.
• Complete side work and opening/closing duties as assigned.
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menus and service goals.
• Enter orders using Sunrise systems and ensure correct meal delivery.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and infection control rules.
