Position Summary

We are hiring a Server for our community restaurant. The role provides friendly, professional, and efficient service during meals and special events, ensuring dietary needs and preferences of residents are met while fostering an inclusive dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Serve meals according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Provide a smooth, enjoyable experience for all residents, serving with a smile.
• Set up the dining room before each meal using linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables promptly after meals, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and handle food and beverages properly.
• Ensure compliance with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.

Candidate Qualifications

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Food Handler Card and understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes (plus).
