We Are Inspired to Serve. Join us! The Dining Services Server is accountable for providing prompt, courteous service to all residents and guests in the dining room during meal times. The Dining Services Server will perform serving, cleaning, hospitality, and waiting/bussing tables. They will serve the Dining Room as well as meetings and special events requiring dining services. They may also prepare salads and desserts as directed.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service, including serving food, waiting tables, and bussing tables. Serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals to residents, guests, and staff in the dining room or bistro. Bus and reset tables as needed.
- Prepare salad bar items for lunch; fill salad bar with ice, set for service, gather plates and bowls, stage desserts, and perform light food prep for special events.
- Assist in setting up meetings and other special events, including delivery of snacks, coffee, tea, and other refreshments.
- Follow sanitation guidelines, federal/state regulations, and senior living/healthcare requirements. Maintain cleanliness of prep items.
- Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled and/or needed.
- Open and close dining rooms as needed.
Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma.
- Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
- ServSafe training beneficial.
- Desired: One year of food service experience, including serving, waiting tables, cleaning, kitchen sanitation protocols, and basic food/meal prep.

Physical Requirements
- May be required to lift or carry equipment or supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent stooping, bending, climbing, reaching, pulling/pushing, walking and/or standing.
- May be required to stand, sit, twist, bend, squat, kneel or crouch when performing duties.
- Must possess adequate sight and hearing to meet position responsibilities.
Compensation Pay Range
$14.44 - $18.80 per hour.
