Job summary

Carillon Senior Living in Lubbock, TX is seeking a friendly Dining Room Server to join our Health Center team. You will provide table service in community dining rooms and assist the Dining Room Manager to ensure courteous, efficient service.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and prior dining experience; training will be provided. The role requires standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must maintain resident confidentiality at all times.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Empathy for the elderly and ability to work with residents and families.
• Ability to explain menu items and coordinate meal service.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 months dining or fine dining experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.
• Takes orders, provides service and items courteously.
• Clears dishes during and after meal service.
• Answers questions about menu items.
• Assists with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes.
• Maintains high level of customer service for residents and guests.
• Assists in catering events setup and cleanup.
• Keeps dining area clean and sanitary.
