Job summary

Sagora is seeking a Dining Room Manager for Landon Ridge Sugar Land Independent Living in Sugar Land, TX. You will lead dining operations, hire and train staff, and ensure residents receive exceptional meals in a welcoming atmosphere.

This role requires strong communication, hospitality focus, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting alongside a dedicated team. You will liaise with the Culinary Director, supervise servers, manage service flow, and maintain cleanliness and safety

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and team members.
• Organization and multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Current Food Handler's permit.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train new culinary associates with Culinary Director.
• Schedule servers and maintain service flow from kitchen to dining room.
• Keep dining room clean and service-ready; perform deep kitchen clean monthly.
• Supervise service staff and oversee catering tasks as assigned.
• Assist with alcohol service per state/federal regulations and Sagora policies.
• Oversee sanitation, safety, and compliance; maintain professional appearance.
• Recordkeeping and reporting duties; serve as backup for departmental systems.
