Windstar on Naples Bay in Naples, FL seeks a Dining Room Manager to oversee casual and fine dining operations across multiple outlets and assist with special events. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organization, and a solid budget mindset.
You will supervise service staff during lunch and dinner, manage reservations and seating, ensure impeccable member service, and coordinate with the Food & Beverage Manager on beverage menus, wine lists, and banquet staffing.
We are a member-owned private club located on Naples Bay, 5 minutes from 5th Ave in downtown Naples. We have 350 full golf members with a wait list and 250 social members. The clubhouse is two stories, 40,000 sf in a non-bundled gated community. Amenities include 18 holes Tom Fazio golf course, pro shop, bayside practice facilities, fitness/wellness, tennis, two a la carte restaurants, a robust calendar of events, and private wine lockers. The community features 72 slip deep water marina, and a private beach on Keewaydin Island with a 40-passenger pontoon shuttle for transport. In addition to golf, tennis and wellness, the highly participatory members enjoy a variety of superlative dining options, in multiple venues. The clubhouse was renovated in 2023 to reflect the coastal lifestyle. The Food & Beverage revenues exceed $2.4M, derived from a la carte dining, private member parties and member-sponsored banquets.
This position oversees the casual and fine dining operations of the a la carte restaurants, as well as assists with special events. Superior leadership skills are required, as this position manages staff in multiple outlets. Ideal candidates will have Dining Room Management, Bar Management, or Dining Room Supervisor experience. Must be able to balance excellent a la carte floor management with simultaneous private events occurring and be a hands on presence in the dining room. A solid financial understanding of the budget and internal controls is key as is being highly organized, efficient and able to evaluate and establish where needed, structure, standards and procedures in restaurant operations. The Dining Room Manager should look forward to being appropriately visible and engaging with members and guests.
