Chick-fil-A seeks a Team Member to deliver a welcoming dining experience and support a smooth operation in a busy restaurant in Poway, CA. You will welcome guests, take orders, process payments, and help keep the dining area clean and well stocked.

This part-time role offers a fun, team-focused environment, flexible scheduling, Sunday closure, and opportunities for growth and scholarships as you learn from Operators and Restaurant Leaders.

Qualifications

• Customer-friendly demeanor and willingness to serve.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods (entire shift), walk, bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects, as needed
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written (English fluency preferred)
• Able to maintain positive energy throughout shift with an outgoing, friendly, and patient attitude
• Able to excel in a fast-paced, team environment with a sense of urgency in getting things done
• Able to think ahead and anticipate problems before they happen
• Enthusiasm for growth
• Demonstrates initiative in serving guests and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists our dine-in guests as they enter the restaurant
• Keeps the dining area clean and well-stocked
• Answers guest's questions, offers recommendations, and provides general assistance to guests
• Takes guest's orders, processes payments accurately, and maintains an accurate cash drawer
• Ensures orders are complete and delivers food to guests
• Maintains adequate stock of supplies
• Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
• Cleans various areas of the restaurant, including tables, counters, floors, trash bins and restrooms
• Maintain strict adherence to Food Safety procedures
• Follow procedures to ensure Operational Excellence
