Job summary

The Waters in Wisconsin is seeking a Dining Room Coordinator to lead front-of-house operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will hire, train and supervise serving staff, manage daily dining room operations, coordinate with the Director of Dining Services, and uphold cleanliness and service standards to reflect the community’s THRIVE mission.

• Minimum of two years restaurant or senior living or equivalent serving and staff management experience.
• Valid Food Service Sanitation Certificate or ability to pass course once employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hiring, training, leadership, counseling, and oversight of all serving staff.
• Participate directly in daily operations: managing, serving, cleaning under the direction of the Director of Dining Services.
• Responsible for overall front of house operations to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Work as a team with the other kitchen staff, overlapping responsibilities as needed to ensure exceptional service to residents and guests.
• Interact with residents and guests on a daily basis.
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and attention to details.

The Dining Room Coordinatorensures that an exceptional dining experience for our residents and guest. The Dining Room Coordinatorwill provide hands on dining room management of all front of house serving staff. Our restaurant and cafe function in a similar way to a hotel or private club restaurant and/or cafe. Our Dining Room Manager works with the Director of Culinary to determine staffing needs and help guide Dining Servers. We provide the best service to our residents and their guests.
