Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dining Room Attendant at Northwestern State University. You will warmly welcome guests, assist in dining room duties, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining area to enhance the guest experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliable availability, and a focus on providing excellent customer service in a campus dining environment.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of related work experience.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to foster a healthy/safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers in the dining room; set tables with clean napkins, china and glassware, pour water for guests, clear/clean tables, and assist with serving.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests.
• Remove dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from tables and countertops and transport items to designated area.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shift with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

Pay Range

$8 per hour - $12 per hour

As a Dining Room Attendant at Sodexo, you are a warm-welcomer and experience ambassador. By serving, clearing,and cleaning thetables, you will improve the quality of life for those who we serve. Your dedication to customer service brings a smile and makes a meaningful impact on others.

• Assist servers in the dining room; including setting tables with clean napkins, China and glassware, pouring water for guests and clearing/cleaning tables, and serving when needed.
• Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to dining guests.
• Removes dirty dishes, linen, glassware and flatware from table and counter tops, and transports items to designated area
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
