Job summary

The Sage Room Inc is seeking a friendly Dining Room Attendant to join our team on Hilton Head Island. You will help maintain a welcoming dining area and support servers during busy service, ensuring guests have a positive experience.

We value a team-oriented, guest-focused attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs as needed. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set, clear, and reset tables quickly to maintain a smooth dining room flow.
• Assist servers with refilling water, clearing dishes, and delivering food as needed.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and organization during service.
• Greet and assist guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Restock service stations with linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and back-of-house staff
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food service environment preferred
• Strong work ethic with the ability to stay on your feet during long shifts
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dining environment
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive, guest-focused attitude and professional appearance
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed
