Job summary

Elior-Collegiate-Dining is seeking an experienced dining hall manager for Frostburg State University to lead high-volume food production, purchasing, and sanitation for resident dining. You will supervise BOH teams and ensure safety and quality standards.

You will drive daily operations, coach staff, lead team huddles, use CBORD for planning, manage inventories, and uphold cost controls while delivering excellent guest service and a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ progressive culinary management experience preferably within a higher education setting.
• Previous experience in high volume batch cooking.
• Ability to organize workloads and meet time deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing high-volume dining hall food production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.
• Providing culinary leadership and direction to back-of-house (BOH) teams to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive dining experience.

• Managing food ordering, inventory control, and product utilization to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiencies.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced, motivated dining hall manager to our Collegiate Dining team in Frostburg. As a dining hall manager, you will have the opportunity to supervise the food production process including purchasing, food specifications, meal preparation, service and sanitation for resident dining hall.

What you'll be doing:

Overseeing high-volume dining hall food production while ensuring quality, consistency, and food safety standards are maintained.

Providing culinary leadership and direction to back-of-house (BOH) teams to ensure efficient daily operations.

Delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a positive dining experience.

Utilizing CBORD for menu planning, forecasting, and production management.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs.

Nice-to-haves:
