PACS is seeking a Dining Services Aide to assist with preparation and serving meals for residents. The role reports to the Lead Cook and Dining Services Manager and follows established food safety and service procedures.
Responsibilities include setting up meal trays, assisting with meal service, cleaning, and maintaining kitchen and dining areas. A high school diploma and food handler certification are required; ability to read procedures and follow recipes is essential.

The primary role of the Dining Services Aid is to assist with the preparation and serving of all meals to the residents of the community. Assignments are determined by the needs based on the activity of the shift. Reports to the Lead Cook and the Dining Services Manager.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read technical procedures. Ability to read and follow recipes. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
The essential functions of this position require the following physical abilities: Standing and /or walking very frequently. Sitting occasionally. Reaching with hands and arms frequently, pushing/pulling very frequently. Talking and /or hearing very frequently. Tasting and /or smelling very frequently. Lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally. Close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception in vision: ability to adjust focus.
