Job summary

Claiborne Senior Living in Martinez, GA is seeking a Dining Assistant (DGA) to help create a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents. You will take ownership of your work, uphold integrity, and support a culture that values service and teamwork.

You’ll assist with meal service, observe safety standards, assist residents with dietary needs, keep dining areas clean, and collaborate with culinary and care teams to deliver a positive dining experience every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic food safety knowledge is desirable.
• Strong customer service mindset and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Support residents with special diets and dietary needs as directed.
• Maintain safe food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred (training provided)
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to remain focused and dependable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
