Maple Ridge Senior Living in Ashland, Oregon, is seeking a Dining Assistant to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents. You will assist with meal preparation, service, and accommodating dietary needs.

This role emphasizes teamwork, resident interaction, food safety, and maintaining clean dining areas in line with Mosaic standards. Prior dining, food service, or hospitality experience is preferred; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to prepare, serve, and handle food safely and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds routinely.
• Willingness to complete Mosaic and state-mandated training.
• Experience in dining, food service, or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service following established menus and dietary needs.
• Serve meals promptly with correct portions and presentation.
• Provide respectful, personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Ensure diets, allergies, and textures are followed for each resident.
• Monitor resident satisfaction and report concerns to the Dining Services Manager.
• Clean and maintain dining room, kitchen, and service areas per cleanliness standards.

• Cleaning & Sanitation:

  • Clean and maintain the dining room, kitchen, and food service areas according to Mosaic's cleanliness standards.
