• Assists in delivering meals to residents in dining room and apartments.
• Take residents' orders at the table and ensure requests are fulfilled.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room tables; pre-bus and clear tables.
• Take attendance in the dining room and report absences to a supervisor.
• Welcome new residents and comply with diet orders, food likes/dislikes and allergies.
• Maintain kitchen in compliance with state/local health regs; keep dining ready for inspections.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties (sweeping, dishwashing, mopping).
• Monitor residents' nutritional intake and report unusual behaviors to Dining Director/Cook.
• Support quality assurance program with required department records.
• Review diet roster and allergies during meal service.
• Demonstrate compassion and desire to work with the elderly.
