Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company seeks engineering interns to join the Dimensional Integration Team in Spartanburg. The role focuses on data collection, analysis and problem solving for vehicle dimensions, with on-site work and real-world projects in the Front End, Rear End and Doors areas.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in mechanical or industrial engineering programs, have CAD/SPC exposure, and meet GPA and credit-hour requirements.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher (overall)
• Enrolled as a student at a four-year US college/university
• Completed at least 30 credit hours
• Must work on-site full-time (40 hours/week)
• Must attach unofficial transcript
• Must pass a substance abuse test during term
• Must be enrolled during all rotations
• Work term dates: January 11 – May 14, 2027

Responsibilities

• Support follow up on Audit calls for the plant
• Analyze quality measurement data
• Support for problem investigation
• Review dimensional issues in assembly data
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
