Job summary

MSI Viking is seeking an experienced Calibration Technician to perform calibration and testing of dimensional gages, hand tools, and other metrology equipment in accordance with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements. The role suits someone technically minded, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work as well as collaboration with customers.

Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, updating tracking software, and generating documentation while providing high-quality service and travel support

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Calibration Technician.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with metrology and calibration services.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated calibration and testing of dimensional gages, hand tools, and related metrology equipment
• Complete work in accordance with A2LA/ISO 17025 requirements
• Update calibration tracking software and maintain accurate records
• Generate calibration certifications and document results
• Troubleshoot calibration and measurement issues
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs and technical concerns
• Maintain productivity and quality standards
• Travel as needed to support customer and field service requirements
