Job summary

Walmart is seeking a customer-focused Apparel sales associate to greet customers, assist with finding merchandise, and maintain neat, well-stocked displays on the sales floor.

You will move incoming stock to the floor, keep aisles tidy, and collaborate with supervisors and teammates to deliver a great shopping experience. Role includes benefits and opportunities for growth aligned with store goals.

Role summary

Apparel associates greet customers on the salesfloor, offer them assistance and recommend merchandise based on the customer's wants and needs. After moving incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor, they ensure the clothing racks, tables and displays are maintained and in proper order throughout the day. From every day needs to special occasions, customers need you to take them to that special product. As a sales associate in Apparel, Entertainment, Toys, Sporting Goods -- or any one of our dozens of departments -- you can make someone's day better.

You’ll find that being a sales associate will keep you moving. It’s up to you to keep your aisles neat and clean, work with multiple supervisors and fellow associates, stock shelves, and answer tricky questions -- you may even have to pitch in to help check out customers. The more you know about the store, the more successful you’ll be.

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
