Job summary

Vestcom, a standalone business unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a flexible Xeikon Print Operator to drive our nightly production workflow. You will bridge data handling with physical printing, manipulating data files and staging print jobs to ensure flawless delivery to customers.

The role requires strong computer literacy, the ability to work nights, and careful attention to quality, with the team collaborating closely with Facility Managers and Production Leads to meet tight schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer literacy to navigate network folders and ERP systems.
• Adaptable team player who can cross-train on multiple technical tasks.
• Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong visual acuity and color differentiation.

Responsibilities

• Print operations: initiate and run multiple digital print sequences, monitoring quality through precise proofing and sample checks.
• Data & workflow management: manage computer files, update ERP logs, organize work order documentation, and alert supervisors to data discrepancies.
• Agility & collaboration: partner with Facility Managers, Production Leads, and Project Coordinators for urgent schedule changes or custom orders.
• Inventory & care: maintain local warehouse stock and pre-printed items; place service calls for equipment upkeep; keep workstation clean and organized.
• Safety first: follow SOPs, utilize PPE, and adhere to safety protocols at all times.

Position Overview

We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented Xeikon Print Operator to drive our daily facility workflow. In this versatile role, you will bridge the gap between data and physical production. You will manipulate data files on our network, pilot advanced high-volume laser printers, and stage print jobs to ensure flawless delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Print Operations: Initiate and run multiple digital print sequences simultaneously, monitoring quality standards through precise proofing and sample checks.
• Data & Workflow Management: Manage computer files, update ERP logs, organize work order documentation, and alert supervisors of any incoming data discrepancies.
• Agility & Collaboration: Partner closely with Facility Managers, Production Leads, and Project Coordinators to accommodate urgent schedule changes, custom orders, or machine troubleshooting needs.
• Inventory & Care: Maintain local warehouse stock and pre-printed items; place technical service calls for equipment up-keep; and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Safety First: Consistently follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) , utilizing required PPE and safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Excellent adaptability—a team player who loves cross-training across multiple technical tasks.
• Physical ability to stand for the duration of a shift, utilize fine hand motor skills, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong visual accuracy, including close-range reading and color differentiation.

Shift:

Nights, Back Half: 11pm-5am Wednesday, 5pm-5am Thursday-Saturday
