Job summary

NXP Semiconductors invites talented students for a summer internship in validation. You will prepare setups, run tests, collect data, and summarize results while learning from a collaborative team.

You will work with design, systems and software teams, maintain validation plans and reports, and contribute to product quality and disciplined test execution. Returning to school after internship required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in EE, Electronics, CE, CS, or Physics.
• Lab work or project experience is a plus.
• Willingness to learn quickly and work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and documentation.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly in English.

Requirements/Qualification

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions is a plus.
• Familiar with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).

In order to be considered for a summer internship with NXP you must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term.
