Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Digital Twin Infrastructure Architect to lead deployment across manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers in North America. You will evaluate site readiness and design edge and cloud compute architectures to support Digital Twin, AI, and ML initiatives.

You will partner with Digital Twin leaders, infrastructure teams, and site operations to standardize deployment approaches while accommodating diverse technology landscapes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of infrastructure architecture, engineering, or deployment experience.
• Experience deploying solutions across manufacturing, warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environments.
• Strong server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, networking, and compute experience.
• Deep VMware expertise.
• Azure cloud experience, including Azure ML and data services.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• Ability to travel throughout North America to support site assessments.
• Digital Twin deployment experience and IIoT experience.
• GPU infrastructure experience (NVIDIA, AI infrastructure).

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of Digital Twin solutions across multiple sites and environments.
• Assess site readiness and design edge and cloud compute architectures to support AI/ML initiatives.
• Support server, VMware, Kubernetes, and Azure-based deployments and integrations.
• Partner with digital twin leaders, infra teams, and site operations to standardize deployment approaches.
• Address diverse technology landscapes while planning scalable, secure infrastructure.
• Contribute to future initiatives involving GPU-enabled environments, edge computing, and sensor integration.

Job Description

The Digital Twin Infrastructure Architect will serve as the technical lead responsible for deploying and integrating Digital Twin solutions across manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and distribution centers. This individual will evaluate each site's existing infrastructure and develop deployment strategies that support Digital Twin, AI, and machine learning initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing infrastructure readiness, designing edge and cloud compute architectures, supporting server, VMware, Kubernetes, and Azure-based deployments, and ensuring data can be collected, transformed, and integrated into analytics and machine learning platforms. The Architect will partner with Digital Twin leaders, infrastructure engineering teams, site operations personnel, and business stakeholders to standardize deployment approaches while accounting for the unique technology landscape at each location. The role will also support future initiatives involving GPU-enabled environments, edge computing platforms, sensor integration, and AI/ML infrastructure modernization across North America.

• Experience deploying solutions across manufacturing, warehouse, distribution center, or industrial environments
• Strong experience with server infrastructure, virtualization, storage, networking, and compute platforms
• Deep VMware expertise
• Experience supporting hybrid environments consisting of edge, on-premises, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience integrating operational and infrastructure data into analytics, AI, or machine learning platforms
• Azure cloud experience, including Azure ML and data services
• Kubernetes and container orchestration experience
• Experience supporting multi-site technology deployments
• Understanding of data lakes, data ingestion, and data transformation pipelines
• Strong security knowledge across infrastructure, cloud, and operational technology environments
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical deployment strategies
• Ability to travel throughout North America to support site assessments and deployments
• Digital Twin deployment experience
