Job summary

Experis is seeking experienced Project Managers with strong Business Analysis skills to support a large-scale digital transformation program within a leading global pharmaceutical organization. This role is remote (within the US) and not a traditional IT PM role, requiring collaboration with scientific, operational, and technology teams.

You will lead projects in pharma R&D, map processes, gather requirements, manage plans and risks, and ensure regulatory and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience.
• Experience leading digital transformation, technology implementation, or process improvement initiatives within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D environments, including exposure to CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls), scientific development, laboratory operations, or regulatory processes.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, process mapping, and translating business needs into technology solutions.
• Experience working within regulated environments (GxP, quality, compliance, validated systems).
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking experienced Project Managers with strong Business Analysis skills to support a large-scale digital transformation program within a leading global pharmaceutical organization.

This role is ideal for professionals who have led technology and process transformation initiatives in pharmaceutical R&D environments and can work directly with scientific, operational, and technology teams to deliver business-critical projects. This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role.

What You'll Do

• PMP, CBAP, Agile, or similar certifications
• Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Power BI

What We Are Looking For

This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role. Candidates should understand how technology supports pharmaceutical research, development, laboratory operations, and regulatory processes. Experience partnering with scientists, researchers, laboratory teams, or pharmaceutical operations groups is highly preferred.
