Job summary

RTX is seeking a Digital Project Manager to develop plans, drive tasks, track progress, and resolve issues on large-scale, complex programs transforming business processes and systems.

You will follow PM best practices, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure alignment with program goals. The role requires up to 50% travel to RTX sites across the US and a strong background in project management.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience with minimum years of relevant work.
• Advanced degree in related field preferred with years of experience.
• Experience in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, Planview or Jira.
• Core project management experience (e.g., Six Sigma or Change Management).
• Experience across waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive project management plans.
• Drive progress, milestones, and overall timeline adherence.
• Manage resources and workload across teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks with real-time alerts.
• Communicate expectations and ensure accountability within the team.
• Resolve conflicts and promote shared responsibility toward goals.
• Coordinate multiple complex projects and travel to major RTX US sites (~25%-50%).
