Job summary

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Digital Technology Specialist for a Chicago project. The role involves training design staff on BIM/VDC and producing 3D models and drawings to meet project standards.

The position requires hands-on coordination across disciplines and strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Procore. The role is in-person in Chicago, with no remote option, and requires a BA/BS in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 2 years of BIM/VDC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management or equivalent with BIM/VDC experience (2+ years).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with 3D modeling, drawing production, and BIM coordination workflows.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and Procore preferred.

Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Working knowledge of drawing production and standard construction techniques and principles. AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks expertise. Knowledge of Procore.
