Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a Digital Technology Intern to gain hands-on experience across data, automation, and emerging tools in a global manufacturing setting.

You will work with business partners to design and test solutions, develop data products, and apply Agile practices as you contribute to enterprise analytics and technology operations.

This role offers exposure to Power Platform, AI, RPA, and low-code development, building skills from requirements through deployment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Business Analytics, Business , or a related field
  • Interest in using technology, data, automation, or digital solutions to solve business problems
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non‑technical partners
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and identify opportunities where technology can improve business processes
  • Designing, developing, testing, and supporting digital solutions, applications, automations, reports, or data products
  • Using data visualization and reporting tools to transform data into meaningful insights that support business decisions
  • Working with data sources, data models, and automated data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and reporting
  • Developing or supporting low-code applications and workflows using technologies such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, ServiceNow, or similar platforms
  • Supporting intelligent automation solutions using technologies such as robotic process automation (RPA), UiPath, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
  • Exploring emerging technologies, including generative AI, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled business solutions
  • Participating in solution demonstrations, user testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and ongoing application or automation support
  • Supporting technology operations such as ticketing, single sign-on (SSO), user access, application administration, and process documentation
  • Assisting with application controls, access governance, technology inventories, audit requirements, and control automation
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, process procedures, requirements, and project materials
  • Collaborating with developers, analysts, project managers, cybersecurity professionals, and business teams throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Applying Agile, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and project management practices to technology initiatives
  • Identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve existing business and technology processes

The role

As a Digital Technology Intern , you will gain hands‑on experience using technology, data, automation, and emerging tools to solve real business challenges across Oshkosh Corporation.

Depending on your background, interests, and project assignment, you may work in areas such as data and analytics, artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, low-code application development, business systems, technology operations, or technology governance and controls.

You’ll collaborate with Digital Technology professionals and business partners to understand business needs, develop and test solutions, analyze data, improve processes, and explore how emerging technologies can create value across a global organization.

Throughout your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to own meaningful work, build technical and business skills, and gain exposure to how Digital Technology enables Oshkosh’s business and digital transformation.

Your impact

As a Digital Technology Intern, your responsibilities may include:
