Job Summary
We are building a GDM Strategy team and hiring a Digital Strategist to join us. This front-line role is for a strategic digital thinker who makes what we have to offer at GDM simple, clear, and actionable — from digital products and platforms (Google Ads, Meta, GA, Wide Orbit, OMS) to attribution and ROI reporting. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex digital concepts into business-ready value that empowers teams and supports client success. This position is fully remote and can be applied for from any state where Gray Media operates.
Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on GDM's digital suite of products, platforms, and attribution tools.
- Provide client-facing teams with strategic guidance, talking points, and best practices to address evolving client needs.
- Translate technical product features and performance data into clear, business-focused value propositions.
- Deliver reporting and attribution insights that connect digital activity to ROI and measurable results.
- Stay current on digital trends and tools to provide client-facing teams with the latest industry information.
- Support platform access, campaign tracking, and implementation where technical expertise is required.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Years of experience in digital media, digital marketing strategy, or client solutions.
- Proficiency in, or the ability to quickly learn, Gray systems such as Wide Orbit, OMS, BI Tools) and digital platforms (Google Ads, DSPs, Meta Ads Manager, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and operational information into clear, client-ready insights.
- Skilled at bridging technical detail to business context to help teams position solutions effectively.
- Understanding of attribution models, ROI reporting, and performance measurement.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with OMS and/or CRM tools.
- Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA), Google Tag Manager, and attribution reporting.
- Prior experience supporting client-facing teams is a plus.
