Hy-Vee, Inc. is offering an IT Software Engineer Internship for Summer 2027 at the Helpful Smiles Technology center in Grimes, IA.

Selected candidates will work up to 40 hours per week and gain hands-on experience across e-commerce, mobile development, data warehousing, and business intelligence. You will collaborate with the development team, contribute to design and development of business applications, develop unit tests, and support data retrieval and reporting using Microsoft SQL Server.

We have a paid internship position available to assist in the development and support of computer applications using the Agile development methodology. The internship will be located at Helpful Smiles Technology center in Grimes, IA.

Selected candidates will work up to 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to discuss other options and hours.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development team to receive technical guidance.
• Contribute to the design and development of business applications.

Minimum Education and Experience Required To Perform Job

Qualifications include working toward, or recently acquired, a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.

Selected candidates will work up to, and potentially exceeding 40 hours per week.
