Job summary

Nova Scholar Education is seeking experienced Digital SAT tutors for the upcoming academic year. You will deliver 1:1 sessions online, follow a structured curriculum, and track student progress via our portal. Qualifications

• 5+ years teaching SAT, with at least 2 SAT students each year.
• Personal SAT score of 1500+ out of 1600.
• Experience at another SAT tutoring company (including part-time).
• Comfort teaching both SAT English and Math.
• Strong screen presence: instruction is delivered live over video.

Job description

We're hiring long term Digital SAT tutors for the upcoming academic year. This role comes with a guaranteed roster of students already matched to you - no cold outreach or building your own client base required.

What You'll Do

• Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions for the Digital SAT (math and/or reading & writing) via our online platform
• Follow a structured curriculum while adapting pacing to each student's needs
• Log session notes and track student progress through our portal
• Communicate proactively with students on scheduling and follow-up work
• Maintain consistent weekly availability from September through May

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years teaching SAT, with at least 2 SAT students each year
• Strong screen presence: instruction is delivered live over video
• 50+ SAT students tutored, including 10+ on the Digital SAT with its adaptive format
• Comfort working with students across score bands, from the 1200+ range through 1500+
• Ability to teach both SAT English and Math
• A personal SAT score of 1500+ out of 1600
• Prior experience at another SAT tutoring company (including part-time)

• Part-time, flexible hours within student availability windows
• Ideally a minimum of 10 hrs/week of availability

Compensation

• $30-50/hr, plus performance-based bonuses, based on experience and qualifications
