Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. seeks a librarian to lead access to the library's electronic resources and oversee eresource management on campus. You will collaborate with colleagues, manage licenses, and support student and staff information needs.

Responsibilities include maintaining ebooks, databases, journals, and the library website, training staff, and coordinating with IT. A MLS preferred, 3–5 years experience required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library Science preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with integrated library systems (OCLC) and Springshare products.
• Experience with adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to manage the lifecycle of eresources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee access to and management of the library's electronic resources.
• Coordinate licensing, access, and lifecycle management of eresources with vendors.
• Manage the library website and ensure accurate content.
• Support research skills and information literacy as liaison librarian.
• Collaborate with ITS and other departments on technology initiatives including AI.
• Provide data analysis and usage statistics.
