Job summary

The Digital Radiography Technician II at Alloy Surfaces Company performs in-process and finished goods radiographic inspections on decoys in accordance with IAW product acceptance requirements.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating equipment, inspecting for defects, reporting results, and mentoring Level I technicians toward Level II certification, while complying with safety and NAS410 guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year as a Digital Radiographic Technician I or equivalent.
• On-the-job NAS410 training hours recommended.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance.
• Level II NDT Certification is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail; works with small components.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital radiographic equipment for decoy payload inspection.
• Calibrate radiographic equipment per manufacturer guidance.
• Inspect payload stack-up and defects (e.g. missing hardware, displaced foils, tilted pistons).
• Label and identify inspected units per QA SOP.
• Mentor Level I technicians toward Level II certification.
• Report daily test results.
• Perform minor radiographic equipment troubleshooting with remote assistance.
• May perform specialized inspections.
