Job summary

U.S. Bank's Digital Product group within Consumer & Business Banking seeks a Financial Analyst to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, expense management and reporting for two digital organizations.

You will partner with leaders, developers, project managers and other business partners to build models, dashboards and presentations, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of related experience.
• Background in finance or accounting with forecasting, planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Support P&L activities with emphasis on expense management, budgeting, monthly forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis for capital expenditures, headcount, business cases and ad-hoc requests.
• Develop financial models, dashboards, reports and management presentations.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, data issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner cross-functionally with leaders and present results to senior leadership.
• Use financial systems and large datasets to improve reporting, forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with financial applications and asset/liability management data as needed.
• Participate in projects and occasionally lead them.
