Job summary

We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve with a team of engineers to develop digital product solutions for transport refrigeration systems.
  • Review product and design requirements from cross-functional team feedback.
  • Support verification and validation of supplier product deliveries in a lab environment.
  • Design, conduct, and document end-to-end testing to verify product design against requirements.
  • Present technical findings and test results to project team members.
  • Collaborate with service to define field tests in support of product releases.
Required Qualifications
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
  • 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant coursework or previous internships are preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Experience or interest in thermodynamics and software development principles.
  • Demonstrated hands-on technical skills in an engineering discipline, including electronics and mechatronics
  • Classroom or teamwork experience with transport refrigeration and wireless communication (IoT) products is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-driven and proactive
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
