Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ, is hiring a Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer II to lead builds/releases, governance, and tooling across a digital product lifecycle. The role focuses on configuration identification, change control, and secure, traceable development across embedded software and DP artifacts.

You will work with ADS, Git, Gitlab/Github, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence, applying DevSecOps practices to ensure timely delivery and compliant releases at RTX facilities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in STEM with at least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with version control and change management/agile planning tools.
• Experience with DPCM/DevSecOps technology, IT, and/or development/scripting.
• Automation experience and shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Active and Current Secret security clearance is required Day 1; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform builds and releases of digital products manually and/or in certified pipelines.
• Facilitate the Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs).
• Maintain and administer the Digital Products Development Library (DDL).
• Maintain configuration items’ traceability, consistency and security across the lifecycle.
• Manage configuration planning, change management, version control, and audits.
• Handle digital product development/media libraries management.
• Document guidelines for dependency management, build and versioning.
• Provide DPCM tool administration for ADS, Git, Gitlab, Github, Jira, Confluence.
• Administer DevSecOps tools like Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo.
• Coordinate data transfers and releases across environments.
• Interface with leadership to ensure on-time delivery and CM execution.
