Job summary

Regions Bank in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Digital Product Analyst to support the product management team and work with product owners, technology and business partners, applying SAFe principles to fill gaps and drive delivery.

You will analyze data, document requirements, create features or user stories, perform UAT, and help prioritize work. This onsite role requires banking experience and strong communication to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years in application support or related experience
• Or High School Diploma with 10 years in application support or related experience
• Banking or financial services experience
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban

Responsibilities

• Validates documented functionality against system performance to identify bugs and remediation work for Agile teams
• Performs complex analysis to map out core product, application or system issues and solutions
• Creates and updates system documentation and workflows for value streams and releases
• Gathers, organizes, and interprets data to optimize product performance and user satisfaction
• Collects and documents detailed business requirements and translates them into features or user stories

Job Description:

At Regions, the Digital Product Analyst serves a critical role in supporting the product management team and holds subject matter expertise for their designated product(s), experience(s) or application(s) in which they support. This role will work simultaneously and effectively with product management, product owners, technology and business partners and should have a thorough understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles to assist the team or other teams in filling resource, knowledge or documentation gaps.

Primary Responsibilities

• Validates documented functionality against system performance to identify and categorize bug-remediation and enhancement work for Agile teams
• Performs complex analysis and works closely with the team to identify core product, application or system issues to map out possible solutions
• Creates and updates system documentation (including process flows, product feature details and user guides) and monitors and updates workflows as required
• Gathers, organizes, and interprets data to help optimize product performance, drive user satisfaction, and ensure alignment with business goals
• Collects and documents detailed business requirements and translates them into features or user stories necessary to meet the expected business needs
• Prepares functional, system and program requirements for Digital value streams for ongoing projects and releases
• Performs User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for scheduled initiatives, bug remediation, enhancements and releases
• Evaluates reported system defects and manages the flow and prioritization of related work based on impact, customer need and Product Management prioritization
• Performs analysis as needed for Objectives and Key Results (OKR)/goal measurement
• Plays a key role within product teams in all phases of the development lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation follow-up
• Supports product owner in day-to-day tasks, particularly around sprint management
• Provides with material collation and analysis in preparation for product demos, quarterly business reviews, and other report-outs for the value stream
• Identifies, takes ownership, and volunteers for tasks that will enable the team’s success
• Acts as coach and mentor to associates with less experience

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years in application support, business analysis or other related experience
• OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years in application support, business analysis or other related experience
• Banking or financial services industry experience
• Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban
• May require on call support rotation after hours and/or weekends

Preferences

• SAFe Practitioner (SP) Certification

This position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense. The location available for this role is Birmingham, AL.

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Median:

$128,130.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans

This job may participate in an annual discretionary bonus plan.
