Job summary

Phillips Staffing seeks a Digital Print Technician to join a client’s Fountain Inn, SC team. You will verify orders, operate digital printers, and ensure color accuracy and production efficiency.

The role requires Grand Format printing experience, knowledge of Durst printers, and the ability to work 2nd shift. Strong problem solving, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience with a digital printer, preferably Grand Format; Durst printer a plus.
  • Must meet deadlines and ensure print quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and detailed checklists accurately.
  • Able to work independently with problem solving, time management and organization.
  • Basic skills in Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

  • Verifies size, color, and type of material from job order.
  • Inspects digitally printed products for clarity, color accuracy, and defects.
  • Sets and adjusts speed, temperature, color, media and carriage positions.
  • Monitors feeding, printing, and racking processes to maintain production levels and detect malfunctions.
  • Loads and positions materials; works with holding fixtures and loading mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoots quality problems and seeks supervisor when needed.
  • Follows equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Keeps count of completed products and records spoilage.

Job description

We are currently seekingaDigitalPrint Technicianto join ourclient’steamin Fountain Inn, SC.

Responsibilities
  • Verifies size, color, and type of material from job order.
  • Inspectsand examinesdigitally printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects.
  • Setsand adjustsspeed, temperature,color, media and carriage positions.
  • Examinesjob orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, productions times, stock specifications, colors and color sequences
  • Monitorsfeeding, printing, and racking processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions while making any necessary adjustments.
  • Loads, positionsand adjustsunprinted materials on holding fixtures or in equipment loading and feeling mechanisms.
  • Troubleshoots quality problems and finds answers or seeks help from supervisor.
  • Follows equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Keeps count of completed product on each run, while recording and disposing of spoilage.
  • Notifies supervisor of recurring equipment malfunction orpoor-qualityraw material.
  • Must have ability to navigate through a hard drive directory and understand file extensions.
  • Depending on production requirements for the shift, may require overtime and may be required to work in other partsof the plant if needed.
Requirements
  • Experience working with a digital printer, preferably a Grand Format printer.Prior experience with Durst printer is a plus.
  • Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and follow detailed checklists accurately.
  • Ability to work independently while utilizing problem solving, time management and organizational skills.
  • Have basic skills working in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to use software and plotters to cut, weed, mask and apply vinyl and films.
  • Ability to laminate roll material and substrates.
  • Understand color management and the process it takes to change color depending on method.
  • Detail oriented method of working.
Shift

2nd Shift-10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday starting at 4 p.m.The schedule on Fridays may vary, but is typically shorter if scheduled to work.

Pay

$18.00 to $21.00/hour DOE
