RRD is seeking a Printing and Bindery Specialist for the 2nd shift in Charlotte, NC. You will operate various printing equipment, prepare jobs, and maintain production logs while ensuring output quality.

The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities include setting up and releasing print jobs, adjusting parameters as needed, and coordinating with material supplies to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate and adjust equipment per job requirements.

• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.

• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed.

• Operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, repetitive hand motion required and able to lift / push up to 50lbs.
• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Requires knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.

Thesalary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $15.50 - $21.00/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs.Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
