Job summary

RRD in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Print Production Operator to operate inkjet, laser, xerographic or offset duplicating printers, review job instructions and prepare jobs for printing.

You will monitor output, perform basic adjustments, maintain production logs, manage supplies, and support quality control. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of standard setups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment.
• Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment.
• Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are routine and the need for such adjustments are readily apparent.

• Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
• Setup, program and release jobs from print queue.
• May adjust image position, perforations and folds on paper.

• Order supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs and other items as needed.

• 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment

The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $15.50 - $21.00/ hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
